Start up bug
In the The Startup Type – Apr. 19, 2006 John Battelle talks to Toni Schneider, who is at the Helm of the company that runs WordPress.com. It is an interesting read, especially for those who are bitten hard by the start up bug.
About five minutes back, I was talking to a colleague who was complaining that we have always started things, made it big and then handed it over to someone. I reminded him that I’ve been telling him for a while that this way we will only make the companies we work for rich, while earning not much for ourselves. The solution is to start something of our own, build it, make it big and sell it off. But that’s easier said than done, is it not?
